This area in La Jolla is packed with these Kayak, bike, hike, snorkel shops. I picked "Hike Bike Kayak" as they were listed as one of the best outfits in San Diego. Hey if I have to sign a waiver saying I understand that there is a chance of paralysis and death, I want the best outfit out there!

The tour was good. A bit nerve wracking for me, the kayak didn't go where I wanted it to and Sanjay has this total "meh it'll work out" laid back attitude which is both good and bad. We jumped out the kayak once (brrrr! Pacific ocean cold!) and fell out twice or was it three times? Not so cold those times. Though I did find some bad news about myself...despite all my gym time I have no upper body strength! Getting back on the kayak was...an experience...comedic if you were watching me!
